TOP PLAYER
POSITION
In the knee cut position: your leg cut across, stapling the bottom leg to the mat, your post leg out, starting up.
OBJECTIVE
Complete the pass.
CONSTRAINTS
Press forward the whole time. Do not back out to pass, and do not go explosively: engage the hand fight and the grip fight. Deal with a knee shield by leaning into it, stretching the knees apart and torquing the upper body, striking it out and blocking with the elbow, or sprawling over it with an arm weave. Reset after either side wins.
WIN CONDITION
Complete the pass into cross body: chest to chest, head controlled, the foot passed completely.
BOTTOM PLAYER
POSITION
On your back under the knee cut, your bottom leg stapled to the mat.
OBJECTIVE
Recover guard before the pass is complete.
CONSTRAINTS
Recover guard in any way. Post on them, use your knees to push, or put a knee shield in. Reset after either side wins.
WIN CONDITION
Recover guard, roll them over, or get an underhook and work up to your knees.
