TOP PLAYER
POSITION
Side control with your partner on their side. Your arm is wrapped around their hip and you're lined up on the same line as them.
OBJECTIVE
Submit your partner.
CONSTRAINTS
Stay as close to their hips as you can. First task: beat the hands. Don't let the bottom player push on you; as their hands come up, remove them and get as close to chest to chest as you can. Second task: search for underhooks, and prioritize the underhook on their bottom arm, even above the top one. After that, do whatever you want to find the submission. Tap and release the moment anything loads an elbow, shoulder, knee, or the neck; ease into every finish so your partner has time to tap, and reset on a tap.
WIN CONDITION
You submit your partner.
BOTTOM PLAYER
POSITION
On your side under side control, with your partner's arm wrapped around your hip.
OBJECTIVE
Reverse, recover seated open guard, or stand.
CONSTRAINTS
Seated open guard recovery or standing recovery only, plus a reversal at any time. Tap early.
WIN CONDITION
You reverse your partner at any time, recover to seated open guard, or stand up.
