Back Arm Trap Finish
pins
Grapplers Collective, Back Arm Trap Finish. 3-5 min rounds.
Problem
Transfer an arm trap to the legs and finish without losing the back.
Tell the room
Start with straight-jacket control and both hooks. Attacker hands one arm to the legs, then closes a strangle with both hands free. Defender frees the arm or turns to face. Hold the finish for 2 seconds. Any tap ends the exchange.
Setup
Start from straight-jacket control. Attacker is chest-to-back with both hooks and straight-jacket wrist control. Defender's hands remain live.
Score
Control the finish for 2 seconds.
- Attacker — leg controls one arm while a clean strangle is locked
- Defender — frees both arms and controls the choking arm with two hands
- Defender — turns chest-to-chest or gets both shoulders flat with attacker displaced
Rules
- Legs own the arm. A defender's arm must be leg-trapped when attacker scores.
- Free both hands. Neither hand may still control the trapped arm.
- Use clean strangles. No neck cranks, face pressure, or held non-taps.
Adjust
Easier
Start with the arm inside the leg trap; score when both hands come free.
Harder
Start from a seatbelt and build the straight jacket before transferring the arm.
If it stalls
If hands keep squeezing the arm, score the leg trap alone for one round.
