TOP PLAYER
POSITION
Past the j-point (hip line); near hand on the far hip; hips down. Bottom is flat on their back.
OBJECTIVE
Turn the already-won pass into a confirmed pin (connection, not grip-chasing).
CONSTRAINTS
Finish-first start: already past the j-point. Reset when the top player confirms the three-second pin or the bottom player re-guards. Role rotates after each reset. Score one point per confirmed pin or re-guard. Default rounds 1:30.
WIN CONDITION
Secure a pin — chest-to-chest or chest-to-back control held for three continuous seconds without being re-guarded.
BOTTOM PLAYER
POSITION
Flat on back; top already past the j-point with near hand on far hip.
OBJECTIVE
Get any limb back between the bodies before the pin locks.
CONSTRAINTS
Starts already past the critical line — must re-insert a limb under a settled passer. Same reset, score, and role-rotate rules.
WIN CONDITION
Re-guard — place a limb (a knee, shin, or frame) between yourself and the top player before the pin is confirmed.

- Move up the ladder once the pin is reliable. Passing the knee line asks the passer to clear the second line before they arrive here.
