SETUP
You can start from the standing low single and let the defender drop to both knees, or start straight from the knees. The coach calls the standing start a cheeky way to sneak in a drill.
TOP PLAYER (ATTACKER)
POSITION
Both of you on both knees. Your hands are connected around one of your partner's legs. Your partner has a whizzer, their arm over yours.
OBJECTIVE
Get behind your partner or on top of them.
CONSTRAINTS
Switch attacker and defender every time somebody wins.
WIN CONDITION
Get behind your partner with your hands connected, or get on top of them any way you like. He says collecting the second leg makes it easier.
BOTTOM PLAYER (DEFENDER)
POSITION
On both knees, one leg caught in your partner's hands, your arm over theirs in a whizzer.
OBJECTIVE
Free your leg without giving up your back or the top.
CONSTRAINTS
A front headlock alone isn't a win. You also have to free your leg. Switch attacker and defender every time somebody wins.
WIN CONDITION
Break every connection and face your partner. Or lock your hands around their head and arm and free your leg from their hands.
