Variation (from source): Let the less experienced player start in the saddle or with grips on both legs. Take submissions out and play bolos only. Start from 50/50 and try to submit or take the back. Or have one player only try to escape, disengage, or stand while the other attacks.
BOTH PLAYERS
PLAYER A and PLAYER B share these rules.
POSITION
Sitting, facing your partner. Your right foot is inside their legs and your left foot is outside. Grab their right leg.
OBJECTIVE
Work the entanglements and berimbolo-style attacks to take the back, pass, or submit.
CONSTRAINTS
Try not to disengage from the entanglement. Don't stand up or come to your knees unless you have the pass. If you stand or kneel and haven't passed within 5 seconds, restart. Be careful with leg locks. Ours, not the source's: your partner taps, you let go right away.
WIN CONDITION
Take the back, pass the guard, or submit your partner.
PLAYER B
POSITION
Same: sitting, right foot inside, left foot outside, holding your partner's right leg.
OBJECTIVE
Same as Player A.
CONSTRAINTS
Same as Player A. Ours, not the source's: your partner taps, you let go right away.

Elevated safety. Confirm tap-and-release before the first rep. Stop at the tap. Do not run this if the room is not already serious about it.
