ATTACKER (ASHI / CONTROL LEG)
POSITION
In an ashi or garami-style entanglement. You hold a boot grip on the secondary (control) leg — do not attack that leg; it is for control. Stay attached to the hip.
OBJECTIVE
Capture their toes / heel with a one-arm false grip.
CONSTRAINTS
Only one arm may work the false grip. Do not rip or finish a heel hook — the false grip itself is the win; stop when you catch it. Keep collecting the secondary leg if they free it. Tap and release if a lower-limb attack loads; reset on a tap. Switch roles after either player wins.
WIN CONDITION
You secure a clear false grip on their heel.
DEFENDER
POSITION
Your leg is entangled; hide the heel with strong (ballerina) toes — turn the toes the hard way so the heel is not given away.
OBJECTIVE
Clear the knee line and escape the entanglement.
CONSTRAINTS
Sell out on hiding the heel while you hand-fight and free the knee line. Once you escape, stop or switch. Tap and release if anything loads the knee or ankle; reset on a tap.
WIN CONDITION
You clear the knee line and get free of the entanglement.
