ATTACKER (LEGS ON THE SHOULDER LINE)
POSITION
On your back with your legs attached to your partner's shoulder line. Pick one of two starts: the omoplata position (your legs around one arm and shoulder) or the triangle position (your legs around the head and an arm). Pick the one you want to sharpen, or the one you need to build.
OBJECTIVE
Submit them, or come up on top.
CONSTRAINTS
The omoplata and the triangle are options, not the only options: harass the neck, the elbow, and the wrist (wrist locks are allowed in this class), and when one submission doesn't work, let it turn into the next attack. Submissions finish in this game, so apply them slowly and with control; tap early, and release the moment your partner taps. Go back and forth, switching roles after each win.
WIN CONDITION
You submit them, or you become the top player.
DEFENDER (TOP)
POSITION
On top with one arm (omoplata start) or your head and one arm (triangle start) caught in your partner's legs.
OBJECTIVE
Posture up and clear the trap.
CONSTRAINTS
Posture so you can get both arms inside their legs or both arms outside. You have to stay on top: if you roll to your back, they end up on top, and you get your arm out, you've still lost, so if you roll, come straight back up. Tap early on any submission and your partner releases at once; reset on a tap. Switch roles after each win.
WIN CONDITION
You get both arms inside or both arms outside their legs and you are still on top.

Elevated safety. Confirm tap-and-release before the first rep. Stop at the tap. Do not run this if the room is not already serious about it.
