TOP PLAYER
POSITION
Side control on your partner. Don't start with your hand under their head.
OBJECTIVE
Get control of the head and neck.
CONSTRAINTS
Get a hand under their head (a crossface; cupping the chin gives you more of it) or wrap over the head. You can move to mount or half guard and still win by getting the head. If they turn to their side or to turtle and you get an overwrap or a chin strap, that counts. Stay close; from far away you aren't controlling anything. Stay in the same role for 2.5 minutes. After any win, reset to the start without swapping; swap roles at 2.5 minutes.
WIN CONDITION
Your hand gets under their head, or you wrap over the head (an overwrap or chin strap counts).
BOTTOM PLAYER
POSITION
On your back under side control.
OBJECTIVE
Keep them off your head, then stand up or get on top.
CONSTRAINTS
Head control is the top player's win, so deny it first. Stay in the same role for 2.5 minutes. After any win, reset to the start without swapping; swap roles at 2.5 minutes.
WIN CONDITION
You stand up, or you get on top (sweep).
