Notes (this phone)
BOTH PLAYERS
PLAYER A (MAKES THE CROSS) and PLAYER B (GETS CROSSED) share these rules.
POSITION
Knee to knee with your partner. Thread your leg across over their leg and push into their hamstring so their hip comes off the mat. Start from there.
OBJECTIVE
Capture their hip, stay behind it, and climb to the upper back.
CONSTRAINTS
No chest to chest. You start with less hip control than in the leg-capture game, and your partner can push your legs away and chase your back too. Whoever keeps facing and controlling the other's hip usually gets there. Alternate who makes the cross each round.
WIN CONDITION
You get chest to back.
PLAYER B (GETS CROSSED)
POSITION
Knee to knee; your partner has crossed a leg over yours and is pushing into your hamstring.
OBJECTIVE
Push their legs away, capture their hip, and climb to their upper back first.
CONSTRAINTS
No chest to chest. Next round you make the cross.
WIN CONDITION
You get chest to back.
