TOP PLAYER
POSITION
On top of your partner in turtle, hands disconnected at the start.
OBJECTIVE
Take the back, or put them on a hip past their legs.
CONSTRAINTS
Now you can connect your hands; go for the seat belt right away if you want. Connected hands chest to back with one hook in the hip pocket wins. Knocking them down to a hip also wins, but only if you're past their guard, inside or around it. If at least one of their legs ends up in front of you (open guard, closed guard, half guard, butterfly half), you lose. Submissions are allowed: the rear-naked choke wins. Tap and release the moment anything loads an elbow, shoulder, or the neck; ease into every finish so your partner has time to tap, and reset on a tap. Any time someone wins, switch top and bottom.
WIN CONDITION
You get connected hands chest to back with one hook in; or you knock them to a hip while past their legs; or you finish a rear-naked choke.
BOTTOM PLAYER (TURTLE)
POSITION
In turtle with your partner on top.
OBJECTIVE

CONSTRAINTS
Defend the hands and the hooks, turn into them, and either get a leg in front or stand. Tap early on the choke. Any time someone wins, switch top and bottom.
WIN CONDITION
