SETUP

Start as close to each other as you can. Optional movement rule from the same video (0:30): one player keeps a foot on a marker the whole game, and nobody may attack that stuck leg.

Variation (from source): Once players are comfortable, take constraints away: other grips, more space, then leg actions.

BOTH PLAYERS

PLAYER A and PLAYER B share these rules.

POSITION

Standing, chest close, both hands gripping your partner's belt.

OBJECTIVE

Level 1: step through their legs. Level 2: step through or lift them. Level 3: score points, with a hip throw worth the most.

CONSTRAINTS

Never let go of your grips, even if you fall. That cushions the fall. No leg actions (no sweeps or reaps). Only the hips count for a throw. Ours, not the source's: tap or say stop and your partner lets go of the belt right away.

WIN CONDITION

Level 1: step through their legs and keep your foot between them for 3 seconds. Level 2: that, or lift them off the ground. Level 3: step-through 1 point, lift 1 point, hip throw to the mat 3 points.
