Notes (this phone)

ATTACKER (BERIMBOLO PLAYER)

POSITION

Any berimbolo starting position you choose.

OBJECTIVE

Hit the berimbolo to take the back and submit.

CONSTRAINTS

Winner stays: whoever wins picks the berimbolo position and the next partner comes in. If the first back take fails, keep re-attacking the back. You don't have to chase it forever: if you end up on top, an armlock, arm triangle, or Kimura is fine. Controlled pace, not 100 percent. Tap and release the moment anything loads an elbow, shoulder, knee, or the neck; ease into every finish so your partner has time to tap, and reset on a tap.

WIN CONDITION

You submit your partner, from any position.

DEFENDER (GETTING BOLOED)

POSITION

Against your partner's berimbolo start.

OBJECTIVE

Come up on top and close every door to your back.

CONSTRAINTS

Holding top for three isn't the end if the bottom player can still expose your back and retake it; keep going until you've closed that off. Tap early. Winner stays.

WIN CONDITION

You get to the top position and hold it for three, with your back no longer exposed.
